- No need of backup media to view backup contents: In GBM, you can view your backed up files without the need of the actual backup media to read from using the Catalog feature. The Catalog is organized by backup job and run and you can view all files, new files, modified files, and deleted files. Extract or run files directly from catalog instead of going to the restore Wizard. Advanced search and filter output, by name, size, or date modified makes it easier to locate the specified file between all the backup runs, use wildcards if you don’t remember the exact naming of the file and GBM will search all backups.
